SEA SHANTY FUNNIES™ Comic Strip #9 - Sindbad the Sailor Summoned!

Start of a new storyline inspired by the "feel" of the early Max Fleischer Popeye cartoons of the 1930's and some of the E.C. Segar and Tom Sims & Bela Zaboly strips of the 1930's to 1950's! I'll be introducing my own original characters as support characters, too, but I will make sure they are respectful of the sandbox that they are playing in as guest stars. If that makes sense. While I will continue with doing some daily gags here and there like I did this past week (with many gags that are impromptu that I created in the spur of the moment on that day), I want to begin threading in my first ongoing narrative with a story arc of something that I've had in the making for almost a year now behind the scenes that I have scripted. I was planning on drawing longer Sunday full page strips, but since I'm doing all of these comic strips in color now on a daily basis, I think I will keep publishing them online like this at a more manageable daily dose pace so that I can keep up on a regular basis. (I am doing these in my "spare time" outside of my day job and working on my other THRILL SEEKER COMICS books). Hope that is okay. Enjoy! I think this might be a fun ride... This is an experiment for me still, too!
